Molson Coors to bring Sol Limón y Sal to the US 

Molson Coors is to introduce Sol Limón y Sal, its lager brand that features a natural lime flavour and a pinch of salt, in the US.

The 3.5 per cent alcohol-by-volume lager is packaged in 24-ounce single cans.

The company hopes that Sol Limón y Sal will follow in the footsteps of Sol Chelada, its mix of Sol beer with tomato, natural lime and spice flavours. Released in February last year, the beverage went on to be a success, ranking as one of the top new items released in 2019 according to data from Nielsen.

“We’re excited about building the Sol franchise and we believe the chelada segment can help introduce more drinkers to the brand,” Katie Feldman, senior marketing manager of North American imports at Molson Coors told Behind The Beer, the Miller Coors blog.
