Leading canmaker Ardagh has produced a limited-edition series of aluminium bottles for Coca-Cola as part of the promotion the latest Star Wars movie.
Each of the six 250ml impact-extruded bottle designs features a high-resolution images of one of the leading characters from ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
The Coca-Cola Zero Sugar bottles will be available in a limited number of stores in the UK, France and Benelux to coincide with the release of the second film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
Each bottle features one of the film’s six main characters including Luke Skywalker, Rey, Poe Dameron, Finn, Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma.
The classic Coca-Cola shaped bottles were printed using Ardagh’s high-definition lithography processes at its specialist plant in Beaurepaire, France.
Marc Bettinger, sales director of aluminium packaging at Ardagh Group’s metal division, said: “It is an honour for us to be associated with one of the most iconic film franchises over the past half century, and to produce another striking limited edition shaped aluminium bottle for Coca-Cola.”
