The future has never looked better for the canmaking industry, with its global reach to take advantage of worldwide growth, says Arthur Stupay* in his economic and product outlook for 2018

The last twelve months have been a period of change and uncertainty for everyone with, in the United States, a new president whose platform was to change the policy direction with a more pro-business tax and regulatory programme, in the expectation that economic growth would accelerate.
